[ Aliant] dlink router and Aliant comtrend CT-301 modem – error

I connect router Aliant’s comtrend CT-301 modem.
The connected correctly.
I changed on router’s 192.168.0.1 pppoe, entered username but
keep error remote not respond.
How do this can connect?
Aliant refused help.
